#LA_GOLOSINA was designed around one simple idea: make surfing easier, more fun and more productive without giving up performance. It is a forgiving, high wave-count surfboard that paddles efficiently, gets into waves early and still gives you enough sensitivity to work the rail, generate speed and connect sections.
The outline and volume distribution provide plenty of forgiveness underfoot while keeping the board responsive when you want to push harder. It is a versatile design for surfers looking for something easier to ride than a traditional performance shortboard without moving into an oversized or overly cruisy shape.
Bottom Contours:
Single concave through the entry, transitioning into a deep double concave through the fin area and finishing with a pronounced concave vee through the tail. This combination creates speed and lift while maintaining smooth rail-to-rail transitions and control through turns.
Fin Setup:
Standard 5-fin configuration, allowing the board to be ridden as either a thruster or quad depending on the waves and your preferred feel.
How to Size It:
As a general reference, we typically recommend riding it approximately 3″ to 5″ shorter than your height, depending on ability, weight and local conditions.
