#LA_POLVORA was designed around one goal: combine the speed, forgiveness and easy acceleration of an everyday hybrid with the control, sensitivity and rail engagement of a modern performance shortboard.
The design carries a lower, wider and more forgiving nose that creates extra stability, paddle efficiency and immediate speed, while the back half remains refined and performance-oriented. This balance allows the board to be ridden slightly shorter without losing the ability to surf aggressively from the tail.
Bottom Contours:
A generous single concave develops through the front and center of the board, transitioning into a defined double concave through the fin area and finishing with noticeable vee behind the rear fin and out through the tail. This combination creates lift and speed while maintaining smooth rail-to-rail transitions and control through turns.
Rocker & Outline:
The tail features a relatively low centerline rocker for speed and drive, combined with a curvier rail-line rocker beneath the rear foot for tighter turns and better response off the tail. Up front, the lower nose rocker and wider outline provide stability, early entry and effortless acceleration while still maintaining the feel of a performance-oriented shortboard.
Rails & Tail:
Performance-oriented rails blend into a refined tail section designed to provide hold and sensitivity when surfing off the back foot. The added curve through the rear rail line helps the board transition cleanly onto rail without sacrificing speed or release.
Fin Setup:
Thruster setup, providing a balanced combination of drive, control, projection and responsiveness through turns.

Available in PU and EPS.
