TORO_SUSHI was developed from a proven performance-hybrid platform, with a wider tail and a set of wings added to control the extra surface area. The result is a fast, powerful and responsive board that carries speed easily while still giving the surfer a defined pivot point when it is time to push hard through a turn.
A relatively low entry rocker and generous volume through the chest provide efficient paddling, early speed and plenty of drive. The wider tail keeps the board lively and fast in everyday conditions, while the wings reduce the effective tail area behind the rear foot, allowing the board to transition into a narrower, more controlled release point.
Bottom Contours:
Single concave through the front and center of the board, transitioning into double concave through the fin area and finishing with a smooth vee out through the tail. This combination creates lift and speed while keeping the board responsive and easy to transition from rail to rail.
Outline & Wings:
A fuller performance outline is combined with additional width through the tail for increased speed and planing area. The wings create a deliberate reduction in surface area behind the rear foot, giving the board a more defined pivot point and allowing the tail to hold and release more efficiently through powerful turns.
Rocker & Volume:
A relatively low nose rocker works together with generous volume beneath the chest to improve paddling and acceleration. The volume distribution keeps the board forgiving and fast without sacrificing the sensitivity needed for performance surfing.

TORO_SUSHI follows the same general stock dimension and volume progression as LA_POLVORA, making it easy to choose a familiar size while gaining a different feel through the wider, winged tail.
